The post I forgot

This is the price you pay for getting behind in your blogging...the snow post I forgot.

When you live in Alabama, and it snows once a year if you are lucky, you use a rubbermaid tote for a sled.
Then eventually, after tipping over seven hundred and fourty times....I'm sorry, I mean laughing as the kids tip over seven hundred and fourty times.....you go and get the lid for the tote.
It is so sad that I brought my camera inside for the sled ride with Dave and Bruiser, but you can believe that it did happen and it was quite possibly the highlight of the day.
I love snow.
I love winter.

Winter.

I love winter. I love everything about winter. I love trees with no leaves. I love jeans. I love sweaters and boots. I love sweater tights on my little girl. I love your breath coming out all smokey (aka: dragon breath). I love wearing socks all the time. I love drinking hot tea in the middle of the day. I love the possibility of snow. I love the red berries on my tree outside. I love using the fireplace. I love cuddling for body warmth. I love everything about winter. Everything.

But then comes the first day that it's not cold and I sorta like that too.
It was 67 degrees yesterday so we decided a quick picnic at the park was in order.
I am king of the world!!!

That is an awfully long walk around this lake. Why don't we sit for a minute?

Oh, I like spring too. Look at those little daffodils. I like summer too.....but its nothing compared to winter. I don't think it's over just yet. I'm hoping for one more cold blast. Maybe a threat of snow. I love winter.

Snow Day!!!! 2010!!!!

My little Angel!!!!
Sha-Sha....ready to strike....luckily I am not in the line of vision.

Bruiser tried all day long to chew on a snowball. He had a fabulous time!

Smooby. Cold Smooby. Happy Smooby.

And my little princess had the greatest time! We could barely get her to come inside to defrost.

Valentines Day Parties

Riley's fabulous festivities - a holiday candy ice cream party--then home with two sugar filled kids !!!
MMMMmmmmmmmmm..........cookies.

Oh! Look at my little princess saying her prayers. When she first learned the verse at school, she would say AAAAGAin, instead of AAAMEN. Too cute!!

Superbowl Party

What started off as a fabulous New Orlean's themed Superbowl party somehow ended up as most of our parties do....a Princess cookie decorating Party. And then Baby Adam got into the beer. (Ha!! I crack me up!)

Wii !!!!!!!!!

We love our Wii. Never in a million years did I think I would enjoy a video game as much as I do. We have the game... "Just Dance" which is one of my little girls favorites. Here they all are dancing together. So fun. Who knew?? I had no idea!
