We did things a bit differently this year. Heading to the Grand Old Pumpkin Patch during the week one day after school. Fun. No lines. We were there with 5 other families. Sure, there were some downsides to this. No helicopter ride. The train wasn't running. The wait was so long for other families to join that the hay ride to the patch that we decided to pass and let our kids get a gift from the shop.
Regardless, Riley had a great time and of course, he picked out some creepy spiders.

Poor little thing. So, we did not stay as long as we normally would have. She did have SOME fun though. Don't let the pictures fool you. Today, however, she is missing Cowgirl dress-up at her school and spending the day home with Mommy.
