American Village

We headed out to The American Village in Montevallo with Riley's class. An absolutley beautiful day. Good times! Good times!

Miniature Golf

Miniature golf. Quite a good time. Riley was so determined to finish every hole, it was quite impressive. We all golfed, played video games, par-took in some laser tag - which was a highlight. Riley was so ready to quit - couldn't figure it out - I said, "shoot me" and he figured it out! He was IN!! Loving it! Yes, loved shooting his mommy. Nice. Ended the day with ice-cream. Very good day!

St. Patricks Day

Two Keoughs and their fabulous, darling little leprachauns. Yes, there was the fabulous meal, and I have decided to make it more than once a year, as little Riley now LOVES him some corned beef. No cabbage though.

Bowling with the kiddos

I'm not kidding, each ball down the alley took approximately 10 minutes to get to the pins, once it did finally get there, it would hit a pin and bounce off of it. By the way, you can still get a gutter ball even WITH bumper guards.
Who goes for the bowling anyway? Riley came for the fries.

Thank You

A very big Thank You goes out to all our friends and family who helped Riley reach his fund raising goal today. Down to the wire, and he ended up raising all $1,200.00!!! Woo-Hoo!! Let me say it again... WOO-HOO!!!! He walked nearly the 1.9 miles, except for when his sister pulled him, and was quite the champ!! There was face painting afterwards and bounce houses and quite the celebration!!

Easter Seals. Who ever would have thought they would be such a big part of our lives? They are just fabulous with Riley, and he loves each of his therapists so much!! And just wait, because Riley is on the Easter Seals BASEBALL team!!!! Just wait! He's had two practices so far, and it's been just too durn cold to bring out the camera, but just wait!!!! I'm warning you!

Bruiser

Bruiser. OH - what to say about Bruiser?
  • We have play-dates set-up for him.
  • He is 6 months old and weighs 62 pounds
  • He went through training classes and we held our breath when we learned whether or not he would graduate.
  • He is determined to get a squirrel, which means i nearly have my arm ripped out of the socket when one is near.
  • Various nick-names are; dog, scooby-doo, puppy, snoopy, pooper(??).
  • He loves ice-cubes.

He's just as crazy as always.

We wouldn't have it any other way!!! We love Bruiser!!!

Spring

I have been babbling alot lately about how I love winter, because, well, I LOVE WINTER. I thought it may only be fair to give a little shout out to Spring. Here are a few things to write about for spring:
  • New leaves growing on the trees.
  • Spring /summer fashion shows.
Garage sales! Oh--I missed garage sales.
The sky is actually a beautiful shade of blue, and not gray as I was beginning to believe.

Eh--Spring...it's not so bad.
